Simon started in business at the age of 21 and at the time was one of the youngest licensed car dealers in Queensland.
Starting with a little under $15,000, Simon quickly progressed from the back yard of his home to opening a small used car dealership.
Eight months after starting his this first car dealership, Simon was consistently selling between twenty and thirty cars a month and he developed a large and loyal client base that generated a good number of referrals and repeat business, something quite rare in the motor industry.
Whilst in the motor industry, he diversified into vehicle & personal finance, establishing a finance brokerage practice called Carbucks. It was in this transition that Simon noticed a gap in the finance market, a particular demographic that did not meet the criteria for mainstream lending and that he believed didn't deserve to pay the terms of a sub-prime lender. As a result he launched his own finance company and began lending.
In mid 2008 Simon made the decision to retire from the motor industry to pursue his passion for empowering other business owners and their teams to operate at peak performance. November 2008Simon started working along side one of Australia's leading business coaches and has been coaching full-time ever since. Simon was also invited to join the team at the National College of Business in March 2009 to lead one their premier business coaching programs, Business Mastery.
Simon's intention is very clear, to increase the quality of life for small business owners and their teams, by transforming their ability and relationship to selling.
